Five bedroom holiday house that lies in the centre of the pretty village of Litton Cheney. Despite its central position the views are almost entirely of open countryside.
Description
The family has a long association with the village and originally owned The Court House. Court Close has recently been totally renovated and provides great comfort in the heart of West Dorset. The easy access downstairs room is great for guests with limited mobility and due to the wonderful walking from Litton CHeney (both coastal and inland) we welcome a maximum of two well behaved dogs by special arrangement.
The house is south facing with a wide terrace the full length of the house as well as a cosy east facing terrace for the morning sun. The gardens are large and well maintained.
There is spacious accommodation in 5 en-suite bedrooms for a group of 9/10 people to holiday in great comfort. This is a lovely base in which to just enjoy being at the house and make use of the beautiful garden, or from which to explore all that West Dorset and beyond have to offer. Our information pages are full of ideas of things to do for both adult and family groups. It is also a perfect place for family/group gatherings and special celebrations.
The easy access downstairs bedroom means that we can cater for guests with limited mobility if necessary.
The ground floor is all on one level with a bedroom and wet room to provide easy access for any guests of limited mobility. There is lovely spacious living for a group of 9/10 to relax or to use as a base to explore all that this part of Dorset has to offer. Close to the Jurassic Coast and many pretty and interesting towns and villages, along with great places to eat, it is not surprising that this part of Dorset is so popular. Well known for all its local produce and creative influences there is something for everyone along with National Trust Properties, gardens and many family activities.
The ground floor of the house is all on one level for people with limited mobility, there is a level access from the drive area and there is a small step from the house to the front terrace area which has level access onto the lawn and garden. Please discuss any individual needs you have when booking to make sure the property is suitable. The large downstairs bedroom has a fabulous spacious wet room, (hoists, shower chairs etc can be hired locally). Do discuss your requirements with us.
