The property benefits from a great location, 5 minutes drive will take you across the Portland Beach Road to Portland Marina and some of the finest small boat sailing waters in northern Europe. This location is the official venue for the Olympic sailing events in 2012. Portland also boasts Chesil Beach- an impressive 18 mile long shingle beach, several shops and numerous fish restaurants offering up the catch of the day.

Drive 10 minutes in the opposite direction from Ol Tom and you will reach the traditional seaside resort of Weymouth. The town boasts a sandy beach complete with Punch and Judy show and donkey rides in the summer. In Weymouth you will also find an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes to enjoy as well as numerous attractions such as The Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary.
