#186 This place is fabulous
Everywhere is walkable, the Grassmarket has everything you need (even in a hurricane), with pubs and good cheap pizza as well as upmarket restaurants. The flat was perfect for the two of us, and in beautiful condition. One night we threw the window open to enjoy music and fireworks from the castle. Magic.
#185 excellent value for the location and would stay here again.
We had a enjoyed our stay in Fleur's apartment. Best points: Great central location. Gorgeous view. Flat has everything you need for a very comfy stay. Everything newly renovated. Photos are accurate. Fleur herself is lovely, met us at the flat and showed us around, and her communication leading up to our stay was excellent. Potential drawbacks: Size: flat is quite small for 3-4 adults (fine for us as a couple + infant), although this won't necessary be a prob if you won't spend much time there. Noise: sofabed in front room gets the noise from the Grassmarket pubs below, while whole flat gets lots of TV/stereo noise from the neighbouring flats. Overall though, we thought this flat was excellent value for the location and would stay here again.
#184 Wonderful apartment in very central location
Greatly enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk everywhere and gaze at the castle while eating our breakfast. Good to have a kitchen and cook your own food after eating a few too many haggis pies! Four fitted comfortably (two on the fold out couch), but after two guests left, it was luxurious for a couple. Highly recommended.
