Description
The town of Wateren is set at the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold, one of the largest conservation areas in the Netherlands.
The holiday house itself is completely round so staying here will be a unique experience. The holiday home is comfortably furnished and equipped with every modern convenience. You can enjoy exhilarating walks and cycle trips in the surrounding area. The Drents-Friese Wold is well known for its 'Aekingerzand' or 'Bald Dunes'.
The wind has shaped this wonderful drift-sand area over centuries. Shakespeare's plays are performed in the nearby village of Diever. You can enjoy plenty of interesting excursions in the area. These include Speelstad Oranje, a children's indoor play centre, and Emmen Zoo.
